Look your best! “Spiffy up” as you would for a traditional conference room meeting.

Lighting is really key to good video. Adjust your lighting and don’t sit in front of a bright window.
Look at the camera when you are talking. It seems a little unnatural but it give the other attendees the feeling that you are looking at them when you speak.
Adjust your camera to eye level if you can. Looking up your nose or at the top of your head isn’t flattering or a natural view when in person.
If possible use a wired internet connection. Poor WIFI can make your video and audio low quality or cut out when you are speaking.
Don’t eat. People are watching you.
Find a quiet place and or use your best headphones or microphone.
Mute yourself when not speaking especially if you are taking notes on a laptop with a loud keyboard.
Learn some keyboard shortcuts. Did you know you can mute/unmute yourself by pressing the space bar on your keyboard?
