How to use the Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN

You may need to use the VPN to access protected resources on campus when working remotely. If you need VPN, you have probably been using the Cisco AnyConnect VPN app in the past. That has been replaced with the new, faster and easier to use Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN.

Department issued computers that are managed by Undergraduate Studies IT have the Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN installed. GlobalProtect is located in your Applications folder on macOS. For Windows you can locate it in your Start Menu > Palo Alto Networks > GlobalProtect.
