Microsoft Teams on iOS

Setting up Microsoft Teams on your mobile device is easy. Follow these instructions to install and configure Microsoft Teams on your iPhone or iPad.

Instructions

  1. Install the “Microsoft Teams” app from the App store and launch the app.

    1. Teams will request several permissions at this step.

    2. These are up to you, but it is recommended that you accept

      1. “Notifications”

      2. “Microphone”

  2. In the box that says “Get started with your work, school, or personal Microsoft account” type your [uNID]@umail.utah.edu and click Sign in to continue (If you see “Select an account to sign in” then you can either select your university account or select “Use another account” to bring up this page).

 

  1. It will then come up with the Utah login window. If it’s not already populated, type in your [uNID]@umail.utah.edu for the user name. Then type your CIS password and click Sign in.

  1. If DUO is enabled for your account you will need to send a push notification and accept or enter a bypass code.

 

You will get a brief overview and a privacy policy notification. Click “Got It” to finish your login.
