Checkout Requests Guide

Checking out a touchdown space and/or equipment has never been easier! The following guide will get you up to speed on how to submit a reservation with US Checkout Requests portal.

Lead time for reservations

Please schedule reservations at least one day in advance. The minimum required lead time is 4 hours.

How to reserve items with US Checkout Requests

  1. After signing in you will see the following page:

     

  2. From the menu, select a category. For example, if you wanted to reserve one of the touchdown cubicles in the Union Building, you would select the Touchdown Space category.

     

  3. Now you can select one of the cubicles. In this case, I’ll select Union Room 40 Suite A:

  4. Select the date you’d like to reserve. It’s recommended to click directly on the calendar rather than entering the date on the left. To reserve a room for November 15th, click on that day in the calendar:

To reserve an item for a few hours each day over a multi-day period, you’ll need to submit a separate reservation request for each day and time for that item.

If you need to reserve a room all day for a multiple days, it’s OK to set the return time to the end of the last day needed.

 

  1. Inside the pop-up, select your desired start/end times and then select submit.

 

  1. Now you will see the pending reservation details. Click the Submit Reservation button to the left of the calendar to complete your reservation request.

 

  1. Voilà, your reservation request has been submitted! You will see a confirmation appear, and you’ll also receive an email from info@reftab.com confirming your reservation:

     

  2. If you need to reserve multiple items, please repeat the steps and select the additional needed items.

Review your reservation requests


To review your current reservation requests, select “My Items and Reservations” from the navbar at the top of the page:

Here you’ll find a summary of your reservations and checkout items:

You can cancel your reservation at any time before pickup by clicking the red 'X' next to your reserved item.

Where to pickup and return your reserved items

  • Pickup and return room keys for touchdown spaces to Sill Center front desk

  • Pickup and return electronics [AV equipment, checkout laptops, etc.] to US IT in Sill Center room 144
