Checkout Requests Admin Guide
The following guide will demonstrate how to fulfill reservations made via the US Checkout Portal.
Looking up a Reservation
Login into the US Checkout Admin page using your unid, password, and DUO 2-Factor authentication.
After signing in, you’ll see the following page:
Below the nav-bar, you’ll see how many assets (returns) and reservations are due today.
To get a better overview of the upcoming reservations, select “Reservations” from the top nav-bar:
Here you’ll see information about all the upcoming reservations, such as the requester’s name, the item/room being reserved, as well as the time-frame that the item/room will be needed:
If you’d prefer a calendar-view rather than a list, you can select the “View Calendar” button towards the upper-right of the page:
That will take you to the following page:
To view more details about a reservation in the calendar view, simply click on the blue reservation:
From here, you can check out the item/room if the requester has arrived to pick up it up, edit the reservation, or cancel by using the buttons on the right:
Checking out a Reserved Room/Item
If a person has arrived to pick up their reserved room/item, you can check it out to them using the following steps
Navigate to the “Reservations” menu:
Find the reservation in the list, and select the “Check-out” button. You’ll need to confirm your selection.
Hint: you can find the reservation quickly by typing in the name of the loanee here:
After you’ve checked out the item, the reservation will disappear from the list as it’s now considered to be a loan. Read on to see how to check an item/room back in.
Checking in a Room/Item
To check an item back in after a reservation’s been fulfilled, follow the steps below.
Select “Loans” from the nav-bar:
Type in the name of the loanee. This will show a list of all that person’s current loans:
Select the “Check-in” button next to the item/room being returned:
