Umail Setup for IOS (iPad or iPhone)

To add your Umail account
Tap Settings and then Passwords & Accounts.

Select Add Account

Select Microsoft Exchange

Enter your email address in the email field and optionally add an appropriate description. I use Umail. If you don’t the description will automatically be called Exchange.

Now tap Next

Tap Configure Manually

Enter your CIS password and tap Next

Add the following information

Server: www.umail.utah.edu

Domain: leave that blank
Username: Your_Unid@umail.utah.edu
Password: Your CIS password

Description: This was filled out previously. You can change it to whatever makes sense for you.

Not tap Next

Here you can select what you would like to sync. Once you have decided, select Save and you are all set.

You can return to Passwords and Accounts to change settings later if you wish.
