Microsoft Office Automatic Updates

Microsoft Office will run automatic updates when you restart your computer. Most of the time you won’t notice. When there is a critical security update, Office may update automatically while you are using your computer.

You’ll get a popup message indicating Microsoft is Downloading Office updates…

When it’s ready to install the updates, if you have an app open, check to see if your files are saved before Clicking the Continue button as it will close the apps and install updates.
